Spring Break

Last week was Holli's Spring Break so the kids and I headed to Denver / Boulder for a few days. We had a great time in the big city. We got to spend time with our BEST FRIENDS, Matt and Joanie, and do lots of exciting, big city activities.

We got to visit Joanie at the Qwest building in Denver. The building is 53 floors and Joanie works on the 50th! The kids thought it was pretty cool being so far up. The views were great. We could even see some parts of Boulder from her window.

We rode the 16th Street Trolley.

The kids went to their first rock concert... The Imagination Movers. Our good friend, Jennifer, hooked us all up with front row seats, backstage passes and access to an after party. We had so much fun!

Dylan with Genevieve, from Choo Soul, at the After Party.

Our photo with the Imagination Movers. They were all so friendly.

Group photo with everyone from Durango. Mover Rich called us the 'Real Housewives of Durango'

Casa Bonita with Matt and Joanie. The kids had so much fun here. It's like a circus inside a restaurant. There was cliff diving, puppet shows, Pinatas, arcades and caves.

On the ride home... I guess Holli felt like she needed to be safe and wear her bike helmet.

  1. We had so much fun with you all! From smoking chocolate shakes to Black Bart's cave to skateboarding and riding bikes, it was all so fun. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard. Thanks for driving up to see us.

  2. Hi Abby - I can see you & the kids had a great spring break trip. The view from Joannie's office looks really awesome. I love the "Real Housewives from Durango". Casa Bonita must have been tons of fun - wish we had one here in KC. Our grandkids are on break a few days this week. Say "hi" to Drew. Love from Aunt Marsha

  3. Thanks! I wish Drew could have gone with us. He had to get some work done on Saturday when no one else was in the office.
