Heavenly Handbags


A friend and I recently signed up to make some purses for an organization called Heavenly Handbags. Local stores donate the fabric and then volunteers sew the purse. The purses are filled with supplies and given to women in need in the Four Corners area. The purse was fun to make and I'm excited to make more. Maybe I'll make one for myself :)

    Nice Abby! I like how you combined two fabrics on the outside. I wasn't nearly so creative, but I did finish it!!!! Wasn't too bad. Will bring to MOPS to show everyone, bring yours too!

    This is so cool. I really like the concept - what a great idea to give women in need something pretty AND useful. Nice job on the sewing. I'm impressed!
